Day Eleven

Very fun day today. After breakfast we loaded up in vehicles for the short drive to Ivan and Lilly's. Both are members of the local church and have a beautifully restored older home in the country. Lots of flowers, animals and a great lunch. After eating we drove a few minutes to a wonderful river with great views and a rope swing.

Look at the colors of the letters! Must be a UT fan!

Instead of praying for the meal we sang!

Our wonderful hosts, Ivan and his wife Lilly and their children Ella, Sarah, Betta and Michael.

Kyle showing off on the rope swing.

It took a little coaxing but Danielle finally went for it (and I almost missed it).

This guy didn't need any coaxing at all!

Kyle and Jacob rough-housing with Michael after the river.

We met up with some other local Christian men in town to play some soccer. They always begin with prayer.

This man said he used to work as a waiter on a cruise ship. One of his customers, an American, was so pleased with his work they sent him this basketball jersey after they returned to the states.

This hotel was destroyed during the war.

Always room for ice cream!
